What is a Smokeless Grill?

Oct 11, 2025

1. Definition and Positioning: A smokeless grill is a kitchen appliance with a fully enclosed structure. It can separate the grease from the combustion during the grilling process, achieving a cooking method that produces almost no smoke. It is suitable for households and small commercial kitchens.
2. Core Functions: Through the high efficiency heating element, it can quickly raise the temperature. The grease collection tray captures the dripping grease. The internal circulation fan and the filtration system work together to suppress smoke, keeping the grilling process clean and healthy.
3. Technical Advantages: It does not require an external exhaust duct, is easy to operate, and flexible to move. The intelligent temperature control ensures that the food is heated evenly, improving the grilling efficiency and reducing the impact of oil fumes on the indoor air.
4. Brands and Market: Ningbo Victor Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. mainly engages in the research, development, and production of small kitchen appliances. Relying on semi solid magnesium alloy injection molding and aluminum alloy die casting technology, it provides high quality Smokeless Grills for global customers. It has formed an OEM/ODM business model and is committed to becoming an ideal partner.

What is the core working principle of the smokeless grill?

The core working principle of the smokeless grill

1. High temperature thermal cycle: The internal heating element generates a uniform high temperature. The heat is quickly transferred to the food through vertical conduction, achieving rapid cooking and locking in the juice.
2. Separation of oil and fire: The grease generated during grilling drips into the special grease collection tray, preventing the grease from directly contacting the flame and fundamentally suppressing the smoke generated by combustion.
3. Closed air flow: The grill body uses a nearly fully enclosed design. The internal air forms a controlled cycle driven by the fan, preventing smoke from leaking out and improving the thermal efficiency.
4. Intelligent temperature control: The built in temperature sensor and the microprocessor work together to monitor and adjust the heating power in real time, maintaining the set temperature range and ensuring a stable and smokeless grilling process.

What is the principle of the smoke suppression technology of the smokeless grill?

The principle of the smoke suppression technology of the smokeless grill

1. Grease collection and secondary combustion: The grease collection tray isolates the oil droplets from the combustion area. Then, the residual oil mist is completely burned out through the secondary combustion technology, significantly reducing the emission of smoke and harmful particles.
2. High efficiency filter + fan combination: There are multiple layers of oil fume filters inside. Together with the powerful fan, it captures and circulates and filters the tiny oil mist, and the exhaust efficiency can reach more than 95%.
3. Water mist condensation technology: Some models add a water mist spraying device to the exhaust channel. The water mist is used to condense and capture the oil fume, achieving a "smokeless" effect.
4. Far infrared radiant heat and electrostatic oil removal: The far infrared heating plate is used to provide a uniform heat source. At the same time, the electrostatic field is used to ionize and carbonize the oil fume and then capture it, further improving the smoke suppression efficiency.

How to quickly clean the grill body and the grease collection tray?

1. Power off and cool down: Be sure to turn off the power before operation and wait for the grill body to cool down to room temperature naturally to prevent burns and protect the electronic components.
2. Disassembly and cleaning of the grease collection tray: Gently pull out the collection tray, pour out the residual grease, and then wipe it with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid using metal brushes or hard tools to scratch the surface.
3. Cleaning of the internal grill and heating plate: Use a soft sponge or brush to remove the food residues on the grill and the heating plate. If necessary, rinse it with warm water and let it dry naturally. It is strictly forbidden to use strong acid or strong alkali cleaners to avoid corroding the metal parts.
4. Maintenance of the filter and the fan: Check whether the filter is blocked after each use, and rinse it with warm water or replace it regularly. Keep the fan blades dry to prevent grease accumulation from affecting the air flow.

Preparation work for assembly and first time use

1. Component inspection and confirmation: After opening the package, check all the accessories (grill body, grill, grease collection tray, heating tube, fan, control panel) to ensure that there are no missing or damaged parts.
2. Basic assembly steps: First, fix the grill on the heating plate, and then install the grease collection tray, the fan, and the filter in turn. Ensure that each connector is firm and in the correct position to avoid air leakage or looseness.
3. First time power on preheating test: After completing the mechanical assembly, power on for no load preheating. Observe whether the heating tube and the fan are operating normally, confirm that there is no abnormal noise or odor, and ensure that the system has good sealing performance.
4. Cleaning and debugging before use: Before the first official grilling, wipe the inside of the grill body and the grease collection tray with a damp cloth to ensure that there is no dust or packaging residue on the surface. Then, adjust the temperature and time parameters according to the instruction manual to complete the preparation for the first grilling.

Daily maintenance steps
1. Clean the external surface
Wipe the fuselage: Use a soft, damp cloth dipped in a neutral cleaner to gently wipe the fuselage shell. Avoid using abrasive cleaning tools to prevent scratching the surface.
Clean the operation panel: For buttons, knobs and other parts, first remove the dust with a dry cloth, then gently wipe with a small amount of alcohol on a cotton swab to ensure sensitive touch.
Keep the exhaust port unobstructed: Use a soft brush or a small vacuum cleaner to remove the oil stains and debris around the exhaust port to prevent the accumulation of lampblack from affecting the exhaust effect.
2. Check and clean the fan
Remove the fan cover: Follow the instructions in the product manual to easily remove the fan cover. Avoid using excessive force to prevent damage to the buckles.
Remove grease deposits: Soak the fan blades in warm water with a small amount of neutral detergent, and then gently brush with a soft brush to remove the attached grease.
Check if the rotation is smooth: Manually rotate the fan blades to confirm that there is no jamming or abnormal noise. Lubricate the bearings with a small amount if necessary.
Re assemble: After ensuring that the fan cover is dry, reinstall it in the original order and check if the buckles are firm.
3. Replace or clean the water tray
Take out the water tray: After turning off the power, gently pull the handle of the water tray to take it out completely, preventing hot water from splashing out.
Clean the water tray: Thoroughly rinse it with warm water and a neutral cleaner, paying special attention to the oil stains in the drainage hole and the bottom groove.
Check the sealing ring: Observe whether the sealing ring is aged, cracked or deformed. Replace it with a new one if necessary to prevent water leakage.
Re install: After confirming that the water tray is dry, place it back in place smoothly, ensuring accurate positioning to prevent shaking during use.
4. Maintain internal components and conduct safety checks
Clean the heating plate: After the machine has completely cooled down, wipe the surface of the heating plate with a soft cloth dipped in a small amount of cooking oil to prevent residues from adhering and causing local overheating.
Check the power cord and plug: Visually inspect whether the power cord is damaged, aged or has exposed copper wires. Replace it immediately if any abnormalities are found.
Check the protective net and filter: Remove the protective net, rinse the filter with warm water, dry it and reinstall it to ensure that the lampblack can be smoothly discharged.
Confirm the function of the safety lock: After opening the machine cover, test whether the safety lock can automatically cut off the power supply to ensure reliable protection during use.
